Architects, engineers, drafters, and other professionals involved with design use AutoCAD, by itself and with add-on applications, to create, view, manage, plot or output, share, and reuse accurate, information-rich drawings.
This qualification covers 13 learning out comes. The student will be able to:Use a layering system and different line type styles/ define and use a system for grouping objects to form blocks/ produce isometric drawings within the 2D environment/define and use an adjustable co-ordinate system based on user requirements/use complex dimensioning routines/use different drawing space/produce hard copies of drawings/make enquiries of an existing drawing and place reference points/ use a means of pre-command object selection in order to carry out editing/change the properties of a number of drawn entities/edit blocks,symbols and hatched areas.

An introduction to Computer Aided Design and Manufacture. The course includes plotting data, manipulation of patterns and cutting systems.
You will learn the technical aspects of the Gerber software including data plotting, manipulation of patterns and cutting skills. This one day course is designed to equip learners with the basic core skills that the programme demands. No prior experience is required although a basic understanding of computer operations is assumed.
