Nanoelectronics and Nanotechnology (Master Degree)

Nanoelectronics and Nanotechnology includes scaling of commercially available logic and memory devices such as MOSFETs, SRAM, FLASH and hard disks drives into the future in which these devices are only a few tens of nanometers long. Medical Devices

The Doctor of Engineering degree (EngD) in Medical Devices provides engineers and physical scientists with full research training at the life sciences interface (LSI) relevant to medical devices and related materials/technologies.

The course is delivered by staff of the EPSRC-funded Medical Devices Doctoral Training Centre (DTC ). With colleagues from Engineering, the Life Sciences and
Physical Sciences, and with input from clinical advisers from the NHS and elsewhere, the DTC offers a world class research and training programme for some of the best graduate students in the UK.

In addition to compulsory classes students choose from elective modules in Year 1, and undertake a short individual research project working in the laboratory and research group of their choice.
